Digital Receipt Capture - powered by Dext
Alongside Xero, we are also Dext Partners. This incredible tool enables our clients to capture their receipts. Forget trying to reconcile your dog-eared receipts crammed in your desk drawer. Instead, Receipt Bank allows you to simply take a photo of the receipt via their app, it’s then automatically read and published to Xero. What could be simpler?
We are constantly looking for ways to improve our processes by using new tools and consider ourselves a very agile team. We work on reaching greater heights through collaboration. Nicola networks with the top 2% in the industry and is on the Advisory Board for the Digital Accountancy Show. She’s also a founding member of App Advisory Plus and an active member of the Rebel Accountants. She runs a Facebook group for women in accountancy called Forget the Numbers, alongside mentoring accountants on their digital transformation.

Client Tasks - powered by Karbon
From 1 April 2021, we have invested in a full workflow management tool (powered by Karbon), this enables us to provide clear checklists to our clients for information required and automated reminders to ensure no deadlines are missed.
You will simply receive an email as normal, with an embedded checklist.
When you click on this checklist, you will be prompted to enter your 4-digit secure pin (which you will be prompted to set this up the first time).
You can then add a comment, upload documents and tick to complete the tasks.
Your Client Manager will receive your comments and files.
Reminders will be sent to ensure you don't miss any deadlines.

Why do I have to create a PIN?
You’re asked to create a PIN to ensure no one else can access your client tasks. Creating this PIN will ensure only yourself and the person who sent these to you will have access to these tasks and related information.
Do I have to enter my PIN each time?
If you choose to remember your PIN on this device, then you won’t be required to enter it each time. However, you will need to enter it the first time you access any of your tasks on a second device.
For example, if you first open the link on your mobile phone and create a PIN, and then later click on the link from your desktop, you would be asked for the PIN again.
What if I forget my PIN?
If you forget your PIN, simply click on the “Forgot PIN” link at the bottom of the page. This will send you an email where you can reset your PIN.
Do I need a separate PIN each time my accountant sends me new tasks?
No, you can use the same PIN for each new piece of work.
How do I complete the tasks?
When you have completed the tasks simply tick the box and it will be marked as completed. Before doing this, you can attach any files you'd like to send through this task.
